My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had windows overlooking two separate areas, making them bright and airy, but there was a fishy odor that wasn't pleasant. Despite that, the room was comfortable, clean, and had a lovely view of the canal. The service was friendly and courteous, although a small hiccup at breakfast was a bit off-putting. The location was convenient just off the M62, close to Huddersfield but far enough from the traffic noise. The dining experience was top-notch, with a great selection and well-prepared meals, yet the noisy bed was a downside. Overall, the facilities were good, but some improvements could be made.
